What is Rolfing?

Rolfing is suitable for anyone, especially people who lead a strenuous life, both mentally and physically. Athletes, dancers, yoga practitioners, office workers, or anyone with pain and stress can benefit from Rolfing; not only from relief from pain and stress, but also to better function in their professional and daily activities. This therapy can also be beneficial for children. A holistic and integral approach to the body such as Rolfing, is important as back and other complaints may have many different causes and contributing factors.

Rolfing is especially recommended for:

  • Chronic pain (shoulder, back, neck, etc.)
  • Acute pain (recovery from injury, surgery, back, etc.)
  • Muscle disorders
  • Stiffness
  • Headaches
  • Burnout
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Scoliosis
  • The detection of chronic compensation of the body
  • Treatment after surgery, accidents or injury

Rolfing is also beneficial for:

  • Balance and flexibility
  • An increased need for flexibility (as in the case of new sports)
  • Support in yoga and dance
  • Helping previously active people regain full movement
  • Promoting self-consciousness
  • Improved posture
